These paintings reflect my interest in both still life, and abstraction. For these compositions I played at the edge of abstraction. Working to stay close to the point at which color, line, and form move past recognition. There was also the desire to fill my studio with delightful objects and cheerful colors. Flowers are an endless source of joy.
